NOXTE VOL V: LUMINAL CONNEXTIONS

Welcome to NOXTE VOL V: Luminal Connextions, a collaborative New Media Festival between Nullsight (@nullsight), Derooted Immersive (@derooted), and IC Contemporary (@iccontemporary).

Join us for the inaugural launch on July 12th, 6pm-1am, at Body Shop Studios (@bodyshopstudios) as part of Vector festival (@vectorfestival), featuring works by: Ali Phi X El Ekeko, Ashorii, Alexander McLeod, Joy, Matthew Davies, and Victoria Kamilla. Food installation by Made of Sugar & Saffron (@madeofsugarandsaffron) and celestial cocktails by Off World (@OffWorldBar) will be available throughout the activation.

In the luminal space between technology and artistry, “Luminal Connextions” emerges as a captivating exploration of light as both a revealer and concealer, a connector and a caster of shadows. This exhibition illuminates the multifaceted nature of light, probing the depths of its capabilities and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. “Luminal Connextions” invites guests to transcend the conventional understanding of light, as artists harness its power through AI, 3D renders, data analysis, robotics, and other new media forms. This exhibition is a celebration of the nuanced interplay between light and shadow, offering a profound examination of contemporary issues such as connection, virtual realities, and the integration of artificial intelligence.
